We make a recombinant adenovirus
that is capable to propagate and to lyse hepatocellular
carcinoma with higher specificity. This means
that H102 can replicate only in hepatocellular
carcinoma cells, but not in normal cells.
In the cell culture and animal studies, H102 has shown
good anti-tumor activity and very high specificity for
hepatocellular carcinoma cells. Additional safety and
toxicity
studies of H102 are ongoing. Sunway Biotech Co.,Ltd
owns the exclusive right to explore the application
of this patent. Sunway Biotech Co.,Ltd also has filed
two independent patents related to this discovery.
